Preparing to Be Great
Preparation is important for anything we desire to accomplish in life. Before starting a business we carefully and slowly prepare and plan by writing and mapping out the ultimate business plan in hopes of achieving great success. We write out the vision and we make it plain in order to have a clear understanding of everything that we want to do. This list should be never ending because we know that in order to have a highly prosperous and profitable business we must prepare.
It’s a very busy time of year for me. I’ve started a new tradition; plan ahead, way ahead, prepare and that’s what I’ve done.
I’ve already planned my Thanksgiving menu and I’m excited. I went to the Dollar Store last month and started stocking up on foil and saran wrap only because I use an awful lot of foil and wrap. I don’t want to run out of it. I also stocked up on storage bins for my food. I had a ton of storage bins, but when my mother lived in Philly and I was cooking her food weekly, I gave her all my storage bins so I needed to buy more. I really couldn’t find any quality storage bins at the Dollar Store so I went to Boscov’s to find what I needed, but unfortunately, they didn’t have much to choose from. I’m going to see if I can find storage bins at Home Goods because they have just about anything I need for my home. I also tried Big Lots, but they didn’t have anything at all. Any way, I’m jumping for joy for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Season.
Today, I tried to work on my businesses, but I got nowhere real fast. My phone was ringing nonstop with family and friends calling to ask for my help in some form and/or capacity. I love being a help to others. It’s who I am and it’s one of the many things that I do best.
I have a busy weekend planned. My daughter just called and asked what I was doing Saturday and I told her that I would be attending a church service, but she said that she, my husband and sons had something special planned for me which means I won’t be able to attend my friend’s church service. I called him to let him know that I wouldn’t be able to make it, but I promise to attend the next fellowship service. I need to get my hair done before Saturday so that I will be glowing and beautiful before I step out onto the town! LOLLLLL
Tomorrow is another day and I pray I live to see it. There’s so much I want and need to accomplish.
