When I started Moms in Slippers in September 2002 I never would have thought that I’d be hand whipping body cream today in 2019, but I am and I am having a ball.
Beauty and the Face, Love for the Skin, Luxurious Body Butter Cream was created from a need; my own.
You see, I’ve always had dry skin, but here’s the thing, I’ve also have always had beautifully glowing skin.
About 12 years ago I started a blog about skin only because of the dark scar that my monthly cycle gifted me from the bumps that came to visit me on a monthly basis. They left a dark scar behind every month and talk about stubborn. These dark marks refused to leave my beautiful face.
It was then that I began blogging about it because I didn’t like the way my skin looked with this dark shadow that would not go away no matter what I did or tried. I visited numerous dermatologists who suggested that I tried all the things that I had already tried with no success. And so the search was on until I discovered a great match for my dry skin.
When I found this amazing skincare system it worked a miracle on my skin only to have the company to fold almost as fast as I had discovered this awesome skincare collection.
Well, I decided to try Cetaphil which worked great on my skin, but I still wanted something more for the skin on my entire body.
Years before trying all of these systems, I had used Shea Butter, but it was a deep yellowish gold color that didn’t work as well as I had hoped and now I know the reason why after doing extensive search on Shea butters.
Well, I found this great company who sells organic Shea Butter that has now changed my life.
This particular Shea Butter is the one that I use in all my body butter recipes for my business and I absolutely love it. I’ve tried another company who claimed that their Shea Butter is the best, but when I ordered it didn’t compare to the Shea Butter I have come to know and love.
